CloseGUARD Life Protection

A special insurance plan designed exclusively for Close Asset Finance customers, to provide security and greater peace of mind for you and your business.

This valuable insurance will settle the outstanding balance on your finance agreement in the event of death up to £175,000 without a medical.

For amounts exceeding £175,000 a simple medical questionnaire needs completing and the Insurer will decide if a full medical is required and when cover can commence.

The loss of a key person can place a heavy burden on any business to meet its financial obligations.

CloseGUARD Life Protection has been specially designed to take care of this problem for you.

The Cover

If a nominated person dies before the termination date of the finance agreement the balance of the finance agreement will be settled, less any arrears.

Who is eligible for cover?

You and up to 4 additional key people, provided on the date application for cover is made they:

reside in the UK
are aged over 18 and will not have reached 65 years of age before the repayment date of the finance agreement
are actively at work in your business for at least 16 hours per week

Simple Enrolment

Provided you are eligible, you will have immediate cover as soon as you sign your finance agreement, indicating that you have chosen to take CloseGUARD Life Protection.

How long will cover last?

The maximum period of cover is 120 months from the date of commencement of your finance agreement, or the original term of that agreement, whichever is shorter. However, the period of cover may come to an end earlier in certain circumstances as set out in the policy document.
